Again, with this team healthy (I guess aside from Booth).. and the goalies playing well.. this team IS a contender.
The only problem is.. between injuries and the inconsistent play of the goalies, sedins and burrows. This team has a major case of jekyl and hyde.
Sad and frustrating to watch most nights... |

At least he's entertaining. This blog is just excessively blatant trolling and homerism with no attempt at writing anything conducive to any sort of useful analysis at all. - Cghost
In what part of this blog is there homerism?? |

Nice work on the analysis by Vantel, and thanks for reposting it, Ian. So if that is what falls out, Minny vs. VCR would be a really interesting series and would inject some life back in the rivalry. Once you are in the playoffs, there is no easy matchup and any seed can win it all.
Also, you are a terrible blogger, a complete homer, an even worse person who most likely commits acts of murder and bestial buggery. I bet you are also uncharitable.

Go away then.
Should he have written about how much of a genius Nonuts is or how deep Kadri can take you (Or Vice Versa)? Its a (frank)ing Canucks blog, now (frank) off. |

I think it's a symptom of too many games in too short a time. All this talk of giving 100% for 60 mins a night when you're playing every other night is unrealistic, no matter how much you're making. I'm ready to fast forward to the playoffs already. |

Get lost.
It`s simple bonehead - if you don`t like the blogs - DON`T READ THEM.
What is with the TML fans obsession with the Canucks? Luongo wasn't traded to the leafs so get over yourself. We don't care. |

And don`t forget to mention that the Canucks haven`t won a cup. |

Lets get to actual hockey talk here.
1. Canucks played as a team last night. Defence didn't get confused a whole bunch of times to give up good chances. Forwards forechecked hard, finished their hits and took the puck to the net.
2. Schneider is showing and has been showing most of the year that he is legit number #1 goalie in the league, even though some beg to differ on that.
3.Luongo can't be traded until July so no more hearing about it. I'm still glad to have him. I feel bad because Gillis has messed it up but i'd rather have him on our team then playing against us.
4. Who will be going down when Raymond comes back?? Jensen? pinizzotto?
5. Has Dale Weise done enough in his games to take back a spot on the 4th line? |

I think it is a bit of both - a more rested team but also one that is glad to be past the TDL. It looked like a load was taken off their shoulders last night.
It looked like there was a lot of comraderie on the ice last night and it was nice to see Kassian smiling and seemingly having fun. I think he has the ability to lead the team through setting an example.
With Kesler back in the line up, and if the team can put forth that type of more complete effort in all of the remaining games and the playoffs, they could go on a run. |

A team, who shall remain nameless gave up 5 goals and lost a leading scorer last night. Bet they wish they had another option in net.
Great game last night by the boys, good to see Roy's play making skills in action...looks awesome. What would kesler look like on the wing for him?
Also, Kassian very happy with his play last night. |

I think Jensen. He doesn't look quite ready and they need toughness on the 4th line more than they need a developing Power Forward. Save Jensen in case of injury down the stretch. He will have his opportunity next year. |

I'd actually prefer if kesler play on the third line that way we have
line 1
Line 2A
Line 2B
Line 4 |
